We strongly and actively encourage our service users to develop a range of independent living skills. Service users are supported to take an active role in their homes, including:
- Individual domestic tasks including upkeep of their own room and belongings.
- Their own Laundry and ironing
- Cooking and preparing meals
- Shopping including food shops
- Housekeeping
- Gardening
- Monthly Tenant meetings to discuss household issues
Our tenants take great pride in their houses and ensure all cleanliness and domestics tasks are carried out to the best of their ability and they even have a bit of fun while doing it.
