An important part of enjoying an independent life is having fun with friends. Service users have very busy social lives with activities including discos, parties, fancy dress events, games afternoons at home, theatre and cinema trips, day trips, short breaks and holidays at home and abroad.
Local trips include Chester races, the Christmas markets and lights, the annual food festival, walking the walls, picnics and ice creams at the river, and being regular attendees of local cafes.
Chester Link hosts an annual party for service users, their families, friends, staff and the charity’s supporters. This well attended event gives everyone an opportunity to relax and have fun together at Christmas.
