Chester Link has not historically carried out any fundraising activities, in the firm belief that disabled people should receive funding appropriate to their individual needs.

However, in the current financial climate, this has been reviewed and Chester Link is carrying out some small fundraising activities to ensure that we can continue to offer tenants new experiences and opportunities which they would not otherwise be able to afford. This includes tenants being supported to make and sell greetings cards, with some of the money raised going back into their art and textiles groups.

We are also planning a Christmas raffle, and local shops are kindly donating produce for the prizes. Chester Link tenants are supported to use their local shops as part of the promotion of independence and presence in their local communities.

Future fundraising plans include applying for relevant grants for service development.
